JK Tyre to hike product price by month-end

MUMBAI (makemystocks): JK Tyre would raise prices by April-end. The likely price hike is on account of increase in price of rubber, which is the key raw material for tyre. Prices of natural rubber have already touched Rs160 a kg, from Rs150-156 in March.

In February, natural rubber prices were at Rs142 a kg, while in January they were at Rs132. In April last year, rubber prices were at Rs102.5 a kg. The management is planning to increase prices of tyre across categories.
