JSW Energy commissions 300 MW-unit at Ratnagiri plant

MUMBAI (makemystocks): Jindal Group power arm, JSW Energy Ltd (BOM:533148) today informed about the commissioning of the company’s Unit 1 of 300 MW of the total 1200 MW power project in Ratnagiri District in Maharashtra.

The company informed the investors about the development during trading hours today.

‘The Unit I of 300MW of the 4x300MW Power Project at Jaigad, Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra State, has been successfully commissioned and has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) from September 01, 2010,’ a company statement on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) said.

JSW Energy stocks traded at Rs.128.74 up over 1.5% in the afternoon trades on BSE today.
