NALCO may revise aluminium prices further this month

MUMBAI (makemystocks) : National Aluminium Co Ltd may further revise prices later this month.

Company has raised aluminium prices by Rs 3,000 per tonne to Rs 139,000, effective from Jan 1, and there may be further revision of prices depending on LME (London Metal Exchange) prices.

The latest price hike was in line with global trend and LME prices.

Today, aluminium prices on LME were down around 0.2% at $2,579 per 1 tonne on profit booking. Last week, three-month aluminium prices ended up 1% at $2,456 per 1 tonne compared with the previous week.

Demand for aluminium continues to be strong in the domestic market.
