RPG Life up 1% on launch of generic Ketoanalogue

MUMBAI (makemystocks) : Shares of RPG Lifesciences were up 1% after the company announced the launch of first generic version of Ketoanalogue drug--branded as Alfalog--for kidney patients.

Ketoanalogue is used to delay dialysis and as renal replacement therapy for chronic kidney patients.

The launch of Alfalog could be the company's foray into the critical care segment. However, with offerings from other drug firms available, the success will depend on how much market share it is able to gain.

Alfalog is a complete mix of 10 bulk drugs.
