Shiva Cement to commence 25 MW power plant

MUMBAI (makemystocks): Rourkela-based cement maker, Shiva Cement Ltd. (BOM:532323) today said that it is considering the proposal for setting up 25 MW captive power plant.

The news led the shares of the company to gain momentum to 8.11 per cent from the previous close, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Its board would meet on Apr. 29, 2010 to decide on the above proposal and also review its ongoing capacity expansion plan.
