Suven Life gets 4 product patents for new chemical entities

MUMBAI (makemystocks): Suven Life Sciences Ltd said it has got four product patents, two each from New Zealand and Eurasia, for new chemical entities meant for treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.

The patents from New Zealand are valid until 2022 and those from Eurasia are valid till 2025, the company said in a release on Thursday.

The granted claims of the patents include a class of selective 5-HT compounds discovered by Suven and are being developed as therapeutic agents useful in treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders.

With these new patents, Suven has a total of nine New Zealand patents and eight Eurasia patents, the release said.
