Suzlon wins 30 mega watt order from Altrade Group

MUMBAI (Makemystocks): Tarini Minerals and Indrani Patnaik, subsidiaries of the world's third largest wind turbine manufacturer, Suzlon Energy (BOM 532667) have won a 30 mega watt order from the Altrade Group, Suzlon said on Friday. 

As per the deal, Suzlon will set up, operate and maintain the turbines for the Altrade Group at Jaisalmer and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan, according to a company release.   Suzlon will install its S82 1.5 MW wind turbine generators and commission them by January.

The latest deal will take Suzlon's installed base in Rajasthan to over 700 MW, the release said.  

"We acknowledge the confidence that Altrade Group has placed in Suzlon's expertise and capabilities in delivering a sustainable and profitable wind power solution," the release quoted Ashok D'Sa, president, South Asia and Middle East, Suzlon Energy, as saying.  

Today, Suzlon Energy share is trading at Rs 50.05 on Bombay Stock Exchange, down 2.53% from Thursday's close.
